ZEN Associates Garden – Chesapeake Bay Expression
This design is a modern interpretation of a traditional Japanese garden – an expression of the nearby Chesapeake Bay ecosystem, abstractly represented as a dry garden. This garden offers a dramatically different version of the typical “back yard”. The garden employs bold stone arrangements, sculptural plantings, and powerful landforms to create a Japanese style garden that is a constant source of peace and tranquility. The garden was designed as a relaxing oasis for the owner who is a conservationist and also offeres impressive views from the interior of the home.
